GoodEats Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-25
- The service. GoodEats is a personal place tracker, operated by Gorish Aggarwal (“we”). It’s free of charge and provided as-is; we aim for reliability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Accounts (beta). GoodEats works fully without an account. An optional account (Sign in with Apple) is in development for cross-device sync and future sharing; if you join the beta, you’re responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; you must be 13+ (or the digital-consent age where you live).
- Your content. Everything you save stays yours. For synced content we take only the license needed to store and sync it — and, for anything you later explicitly share, to show it to the people you chose. We claim no other rights.
- Acceptable use. Don’t upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive; don’t probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service; don’t use it to spam or harass. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
- Deletion. You can delete an account in Settings at any time; synced data is removed from our servers. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
- Privacy. See the Privacy Policy — it’s part of these terms.
- Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be shown in the app for re-consent. Continued use after that means acceptance.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages; total liability is capped at $50. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
- Governing law. California, USA.
