How does sync work?

GoodEats syncs through your personal iCloud account. There is no GoodEats account and no server of ours involved — install the app on a new iPhone signed into the same Apple ID and your places appear.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings → Export all data gives you everything as JSON, which you can save to Files or share anywhere.

How do I save a place from Apple Maps or Google Maps?

Use the share sheet: open the place in Maps, tap Share, and choose GoodEats. The place lands on your “Want to go” shelf.

How do I delete everything?

Delete the app, then remove its iCloud data via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage. Details in the privacy policy.
